competition time! (Competition Over)

Today, I am running a competition to win a signed copy of Pieces of You, plus a ton of other goodies. This is kind of a ‘reading pack’…so there is some lovely tea, delicious chocolate, macaroons, biscuits…some tissues in case the book gets you all emotional…plus some extra bits and pieces I’m throwing in for fun. You might even find some Sasha Wagstaff bits in there somewhere!

Go back to Twitter and re-tweet my competition link to be in with a chance of winning….

NEW BOOKS

I’m currently writing my second book as Ella Harper. Oh yes I am. It’s about two best friends. A man and a woman. They’ve known each other for twenty years. They’re probably in love with each other, but time…and other events have got in the way. As they both face the biggest challenges of their lives, can they find one another again or it is going to be yet another case of missed opportunity for them? It’s properly romantic, this one. And funny. You won’t need as many tissues as you did when you read Pieces of You. I promise.

OTHER WRITING

I have written a short story, a blog piece and a feature for the online page of a daily newspaper…release dates to be announced soon!

Launch Night photos mark 2!!!

So I had another launch night. This time for The Years of Loving You. And it was fabulous! So many of my friends joined me to celebrate the publication of this novel - I was really feeling the love. My fantastic friend Claire Bohle did the honours with some awesome photos again (to follow) and I must thank Jean and Jan for the beautiful cupcakes. My friend Michelle did a great job standing in for my editor by reading out a very lovely speech which made me rather emosh and I made a terrible speech which I can't remember (note to self: do speeches earlier next time before so many glasses of prosecco). For those that stayed the distance, there was music and dancing and it was rather a late night. But it was a great one. Thanks again to all who attended and made it extra special.

Just some of Claire's fab photos - and do please forgive my self-indulgent posing:

(Last years launch)

Ok, so this is a very late post. Forgive me. Here are some photos from my launch night back in October. I'm cringing because this post is so out of date but it was such a fabulous night and I wanted to share the photos taken by my lovely friend Claire Bohle.

RNA AWARD NEWS

So last night, I won an award! It was the Romantic Novelist's Association Epic Romance award. I have never been so shocked or thrilled in my life! I hadn't prepared a speech, I wasn't expecting it so I was shaking like a leaf when I went up to collect my award. From Barbara Taylor Bradford. Barbara Taylor Bradford, people! She's a legend. Warm, funny and rather naughty actually! The whole experience was wonderful and much pink champagne was drunk - in the name of celebration, obviously.
